A 2-day, 5-game matched play tournament for Warhammer Horus Heresy, at Tabletop Republic High Wycombe on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2024.

We cannot process refunds for any ticket cancellations that occur within 30 calendar days prior to the event start date. Please ensure you are able to attend and are committed to the date before booking your ticket, it helps us run a smoother tournament and means we are not losing out having to refund late drop outs.

RULES PACK
 
Shattered Stars is a matched play event at 3000 points. That means Loyalist may play vs. Loyalist and Traitor may play vs. Traitor. There will however be awards for "Top Loyalist" and "Top Traitor" just for fun!

Forces:
 
Each player must bring an army of no more than 3000pts created with the Crusade Force Organisation chart from the Warhammer Horus Heresy V2 rulebook, painted to at least a battle-ready standard. A single rite of war can be taken. Lords of War may be taken ontop of this (i.e. within the 3000pts, not an additional entry!). Primarchs are permitted, but there will be a secondary award for the highest-placed army without a Primarch (this will not stack with the top 3 awards, so if an army finishes top 3 without a Primarch, the secondary award will bump to the next highest valid player that did not podium.)

Additional Army Rules:
 
There is a limit on Dreadnoughts of 1 per 1000pts (so in this case, a maximum of 3 Dreadnoughts).
 
Expanded army list entries found at https://www.warhammer-community.com/horus-heresy-downloads/ are permitted.
 
Army lists will need to be submitted to the Best Coast Pairings app at least 48 hours before the event (we will e-mail out when this goes live).
 
Conversions and proxies are allowed assuming they match the size, function and armament of the model they are intended to represent. For any queries on whether or not your proxy is acceptable, please e-mail contact@tabletoprepublic.com.

Pairings:
 
The tournament will run using swiss pairings with the first round being drawn at random and subsequent rounds being paired on score. Once again this is a matched-play event and so traitors may play traitors and loyalists may play loyalists.

Scoring:
Scoring will take into account "games won" followed by net VP (primaries and secondaries combined) as the tiebreaker. Army list submitted on time will be the 3rd tiebreaker (i.e. two players on equal score will see the player that submitted their list to BCP after the deadline finish below the other).

Missions will be rolled for from the Warhammer Horus Heresy core book on the morning of the event for each round and will then be displayed so that all players know what to expect.

There will be some HUGE prizes to be won (literally) with the top three finishing players receiving a Questoris Knight EACH!. That's right - either a Cerastus Knight Lancer, Knight Acheron or Knight Castigator going to the podium placers! (We will have one of each, so 3rd place will get first pick, followed by 2nd then 1st.) Not only that, but there will be a "Contemptor Raffle" with three non-podium placing players being picked at random to win a Contemptor Dreadnought to help smash their future foes.
