Entry for one player to the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game league at Tabletop Republic High Wycombe.

Army selection - You can pick up to two armies to use for the entirety of the league. For each please state the maximum pts level you can field. This should be between 500 and 800pts and must each be from opposing factions i.e. Good / Evil. Note there is no painting requirement so please do not be put off if you don't have a full army painted yet. If you only have one army or only armies from Good or from Evil then please pick a single army. Each game will between 500 and 800 points. You should state the maximum you can field for each of your lists once the league starts and each pairing will be based on the lowest common figure.
The league organiser will randomly determine which of your armies you will use for the round. For scenario choice please roll a pool from the matched play guide (there is one at the shop if you don't have it) and then use the veto system to determine the final scenario choice.
There will be 6 rounds with a game every two weeks. This may change slightly depending on numbers. 3pts will be scored for a win, 1pt for a draw. First tiebreaker will be VP Difference, then Head-to-Head record.
Painting is NOT required, but suggested to make the best photos! Models should be WYSIWYG to a strong level. Your opponent should be able to tell what a model/weapon is just by looking at it. The same applies for conversions and kitbashes.
Each round costs £8 (round 1 is covered by this entry fee). This equates for £7 table fee and £1 into the prize pool for trophies and vouchers at the end. Terrain should be agreed upon by both players (we have an excellent selection in-store), and prior to each game, you should agree with your opponent how to treat each terrain pieces such as what is difficult, what is a barrier etc.
