FRESH MEAT - A 1000pt 3-round beginner-friendly tournament at Tabletop Republic High Wycombe on Sat 11th May

NOTE ABOUT "BEGINNER": While this event is beginner-friendly, players are still expected to have previous experience in Warhammer 40,000 and be able to play a 1000pt game within the time frame (2 1/2 hours). Players brand new to the game who have never played before are not advised to sign up.

---

ARMY RULES:

- Each player's army should be mustered using the current rules for 1000pts (Incursion)

- Armies do not need to be painted to enter. All armies will get the 10pts for being 'Battle Ready' regardless of painting status!

- All conversions and proxies should bear a logical resemblance to the original model and should be of comparable dimensions to the latest Games Workshop model. It is your responsibility to make sure your opponent is able to clearly identify what is what with no ambiguity. All models must be on the correct, most recent base size.

---

TOURNAMENT RULES:

- We will be using Chapter Approved Leviathan deck for all missions, rules, secondaries and pre-game sequence

- The deployment, mission rules and primary objectives will be chosen ahead of time (see Missions + Terrain), as well as the terrain layouts

- Any rules, updates, FAQs, etc released on or prior to the Wednesday before the event will be valid.

- We have a zero-tolerance policy to cheating (whether through dodgy dice, slow-playing or repeated incorrect rules). Any player found cheating (whether accidentally or on purpose) by the TO may be warned, docked points or DQd depending on the severity. PLEASE let the TO know ASAP if you have any issues during your game, as issues cannot be sorted post-game or post-event!

- Once time is called in the round, it is dice down and scores are calculated as they are with the game ending at that point - there are no exceptions. There is no ‘mathing’ out scores if your game does not reach completion.

- For advanced rulings, we will be using the UKTC Judges' Q&A (https://docs.google.com/document/d/10u4bb4mgqvhFew4MicY4bqnyeZ7Ws57Q6elj95nOPiA/edit)

- Placings will be done based on the following: Wins > Opponent Win % > Points Scored

- Pairings will be done based on the following: Wins > Path to Victory > Random

- We may not have a spare player on the day, so a player receiving a bye is possible. In the result of a bye, the player will receive an 100-0 victory
