PLEASE EXPAND THIS TEXT FOR FULL EVENT DETAILS
A World In Flames - A Late War Flames of War V4 Tournament at Tabletop Republic High Wycombe on Saturday 5th December 2026
REFUND POLICY – Please read before booking your ticket:
We cannot process refunds for any ticket cancellations that occur within 30 days prior to the event start date. Please ensure you are able to attend and are committed to the date before booking your ticket, it helps us run a smoother tournament and means we are not losing out having to refund late drop outs.
Each player will select a LW army at 105 points, conforming to standard Flames of War army composition rules. All armies must be fully painted (at least 3 colours) and in a colour befitting WW2 though complete historical accuracy is not necessary (ie no Pink Panthers or Warhammer Ultramarine colour schemes). Any miniatures not fully painted will be removed from the table prior to starting the tournament. No proxy models are permitted, players should use the correctly sized vehicles as well as gun and infantry teams. Infantry teams representing different weapon configurations e.g. a Rifle/MG armed infantry platoon may be used as MG armed infantry platoons as long as platoons are clearly distinguishable. If in doubt, ask prior to the event.
The cut-off date for new forces including PDF’s and dynamic points will be 21/11/26
Bagration: Polish & Late War Leviathans are not permitted for this event.
Please note that due to our position as a high street retail store, we do not permit the German swastika to be displayed on any models or accessories. We appreciate that Flames of War is a World War II strategy game, but we hope our players understand the controversial and offensive nature of the symbol regardless of historical accuracy. Please ensure if your models have any swastika emblems these are covered in some way. We will insist they are removed from play if this is not followed.
List Submission:
Lists must be submitted to CandCPainted@gmail.com by 28/11/26 23:59 otherwise a penalty of -1pt will be applied and a late list penalty will be considered for tie breakers.
Tournament: The tournament will be simple matched-play meaning there is no narrative aspect and thus it is possible to play against the same nation as yourself. There will be three rounds over the day of swiss-style pairings.
The first round will be drawn randomly and thereafter players will be paired by score.
Missions: We will be using the Latest Mission pack with the experimental reserve rules seen in the 2024 mission pack. If you are unfamiliar with these rules then please feel free to contact Harry at CandCPainted@gmail.com
Scoring:
Scoring will be based on the victory points table as per the Flames of War rulebook. Points scored will be the first tiebreaker, followed by list submission and then unit kills.
Sportsmanship:
We expect all players to generally behave in a sporting manner. Pre-measuring is allowed in Flames of War and thus we advise communication as you go along is key to avoid disagreements – e.g. “are you happy that this is hull down?” when positioning in the movement phase is better than “I intended that to be hull down” in the opposition's shooting phase. Unseemly gamesmanship and outright cheating will of course not be tolerated.
Food: Food is not included in the ticket price; there is a range of other establishments in short walking distance that sell hot and cold food.
Awards: There will be awards for the following:
