Tabletop Republic 2000pt 40K League - Season 4 Results

It's time again to present the awards and the results for this season of the Tabletop Republic Warhammer 40k 2000pt league! This blog will go through the missions, the results, and the statistics from Season 4, which ran from October to December 2023.



THE LEAGUE


The 2000pt Tabletop Republic 40k league is comprised of 6 games played over 3 months, with each round lasting 2 weeks. This season had 16 players.


TABLE


Sam won his second league title in a row with an undefeated run only stunted by a 78-all draw with former champion Sid.


Greg achieved a league podium for the first time, finishing 2nd place with some very impressive scores.


Steve also got his first ever league podium with his 3rd place finish - making it 2 CSM armies in the top 3!


The final table above shows the full standings for each player - with their placings based on the following criteria

1. Total wins

2. Oppt. Game Win %

3. Battle Points scored


Each rounds pairings was based on the following: wins > path to victory > random.

The 'Most Improved Player' Award: Rob Steenkamp (14th last season -> 7th)


The 'This One Doesn't Count' Award: Carl Stabler (5th last season -> 14th)


The 'Submarine' Award: Greg Wall (highest position after opening loss, 2nd)


The 'Best Newcomer' Award: Tom Parrin, 4th


...and that's the league report done! The next season starts early Jan and hopefully I'll be able to join it subject to player numbers and availability!
