About the event
- Yu-Gi-Oh TCG: Win-a-Box Tournament @ Tabletop Republic High Wycombe on Sat 15th April
- TICKETS:
- Tickets are £10 and are available from TabletopRepublic.com/events
- You MUST purchase a ticket prior to the event to play - no on-the-door tickets will be sold
- You must have a Konami ID (aka Cossy/KCGN) to play. If you do not have one, you may not be permitted entry into the event until you have created one.
- REFUND POLICY – Please read before booking your ticket: We cannot process refunds for any ticket cancellations that occur within 14 DAYS prior to the event start date. Please ensure you are able to attend and are committed to the date before booking your ticket, it helps us run a smoother tournament and means we are not losing out having to refund late drop outs.
- PRIZES:
- 1ST: A sealed box of Maze of Memories
- ALL PLAYERS will get 1 OTS pack for playing
- OTHER PRIZES will depend on attendance, with packs added based on ticket sales
- THE EVENT:
- This event will follow standard Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament rules and policies (https://www.yugioh-card.com/eu/play/policy-documents/), witht the most recent TCG banlsit in effect as of the event.
- There is no need to complete a Deck List prior to the event, but your deck may be subject to random searched during the event.
- The tournament will consist of 4 rounds of swiss-style pairings, increasing to 5 rounds if the event has 17+ players, or 6 players for 33+ players.
- Note; we will not have a spare player on the day so a bye is possible.
- SCHEDULE:
- 10:00 Doors Open
- 10:55 Registraition Ends
- 11:00 - 11:40 Round 1
- 12:00 - 12:50 Round 2
- 12:50 - 13:30 Lunch Break
- 13:35 - 14:15 Round 3
- 14:35 - 15:15 Round 4
- 15:35 - 16:15 Round 5 (if needed)
- Rounds are 40 minutes in length, with 20 minutes between rounds for end-of-game procedures and pairings.There is a 40 minute break between round 2-3 for lunch (not provided, but availble to purchase)
- OTHER INFO:
- We have a zero-tolerance policy to cheating and poor sportsmanship - anybody found breaking these rules, our our store rules around hygiene and behaviour, could be asked to leave
- Please ensure you bring any items you need with you as we may not have spares to lend you (eg Field Center Cards, dice, counters, etc). We suggest you also bring extra sleeves in case of mid-tournament damage!
- You may have non-English cards in your deck as long as you have an English version of that card outside of your deck to show when needed
