About the event

  • BROTHERS IN ARMS II - A Warhammer 40,000 Team Event (2000pts)
  • Hosted at Tabletop Republic High Wycome

  • TICKETS:
  • Tickets are £37.50 per team (3 players)
  • [EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT: After December 31st 2022, tickets will go up to £45 per team so get your tickets now to save money!]
  • Tickets are available from: https://www.tabletoprepublic.com/tickets
  • We cannot process refunds for any ticket cancellations that occur within 2 WEEKS prior to the event start date. Please ensure you are able to attend and are committed to the date before booking your ticket, it helps us run a smoother tournament and means we are not losing out having to refund late drop outs.

  • TEAM RULES:
  • Teams are formed of 3 players
  • A team captain should be nominated, who will send in the rosters, report game results and be the main point of contact (ideally they should also buy the tickets)
  • Teams can be comprised of any different factions, including those from differing "sides" (eg xenos & imperium)
  • The same faction cannot be used more than once per team
  • The only exception to this is Adeptus Astartes which can be used twice in a team, but they must be different subfactions
  • The allowed factions are:
  • Adeptus Astartes
  • Grey Knights
  • Adeptus Custodes
  • Adeptus Mechanicus
  • Adepta Sororitas
  • Imperial Knights
  • Astra Militarum
  • Chaos Daemons
  • Chaos Knights
  • Chaos Space Marines
  • Death Guard
  • Thousand Sons
  • Drukhari
  • Aeldari
  • Orks
  • Necrons
  • T'au Empire
  • Tyranids
  • Genestealer Cults

  • Once a player has finished their game, they are not allowed to help/coach/assist any other team members if they are still playing
  • If your team loses a player prior to the event and you cannot find a replacement, contact us ASAP and we'll try to find a replacement for you
  • If a player drops out on the day or we cannot find a replacement, that game will be declared a 100-0 win to the opponents

  • ARMY RULES:
  • Each player's army must be battle-forged and no more than 2000pts
  • Each army should follow the War Zone: Nephilim rules for mustering armies
  • Lists should be submitted by THURSDAY 4TH MAY at the latest - late submission could result in points being docked.
  • A team name should be chosen and submitted alongside the lists.
  • Your army must be Battle Ready painted - if not, you will not get the +10pts per game for being so
  • Kitbashing, proxies, conversions and 3d printing is all good as long as it bears a logical resemblace to the original model
  • WYSIWYG is enforced to a certain level - pistols and smaller details can be different, but main weapons must be as described (a sword cannot be a shield)
  • Legends units are not allowed

  • EVENT RULES:
  • The first round is random pairings, with the following 2 rounds being swiss pairing
  • Teams are paired against each other. This method should be used to decide which player plays each other:
  • 1. Team captains roll off to decide Team A and Team B
  • 2. Both captains secretly note down their first "Defender" - this should be the player must able to take on any opponent - then reveal them at the same time
  • 3. Team A picks one of their remaining 2 players to play vs Team B's defender.
  • 4. Team B then does the same by picking one of their players to play A's defender.
  • 5. The remaining 2 players play vs each other
  • A round is based on which team scores the most points in that round - not which team wins more! (eg a team could lose 1-2, but win the round due to a higher total combined score)
  • Any rules, faqs, erratas, dataslates, etc released on or before THURSDAY 4THMAY are valid
  • Games will be played on a 5ft x 4ft board
  • This event is open to 16+ (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)

  • SCHEDULE:
  • 09:30 - 09:55 Registration
  • 10:00 - 13:10 Round 1
  • 13:10 - 13:40 Break
  • 13:45 - 16:55 Round 2
  • 16:55 - 17:05 Break
  • 17:10 - 20:10 Round 3
  • 20:10 - 20:30 Results
  • Missions are TBC
  • Each round is 3h 10m - extra time has been allocated to allow for player pairings as described above
