Tabletop Republic 40K League - Season 4 Results

It's time again to present the awards and the results for this season of the Tabletop Republic Warhammer 40k league! This blog will go through the missions, the results, and the statistics from this season, which ran from July - September 2022.

LEAGUE RULES

The Tabletop Republic 40k league is a 1000pt league comprised of 6 games played over 3 months. This season was the most popular since the first season, with 22 players!

TABLE

For the second season in a row, we didn't have an undefeated winner - but it was still a decisive victory as Jack was the only player who only lost 1 game, with 2nd - 8th all going 4/2

The final table above shows the full standings for each player - with their placings based on; firstly - points scored (3pts for a win, 2pts for a draw, 1pt for a loss), then points difference (total points scored minus total points conceded). If a further tiebreaker was needed, it would come down to total points scored.

Jack Pugh's AdMech won this season - with Scott Errington-Bazley getting 2nd place (and a second podium in a row), and newcomer Lee Anderson getting a very impressive 3rd with Guard!

Here is the extended table showing each player's win-loss pattern and opponents.

Manuele switched factions during the league, so his AdMech only featured for 1 game and he played his Imperial Knights from Round 2 onwards

THE ROUNDS

Here I will show off each round - including the missions chosen, the rules included and the terrain layouts

ROUND 1: Deliverance

ROUND 2: Fight Until Dawn (custom mission)

ROUND 3: Desperate Raid

ROUND 4: Stake Claim (custom mission)

ROUND 5: Display of Spiritual Might

ROUND 6: Mutated Battlefield

SECONDARIES

Here are each of the secondaries chosen during the league, how many times they were chosen and the average score for each.

Raise the Banners High was the most popular secondary with 33 picks, with Engage on all Fronts very close behind with 32.

The highest scoring Nephilim secondary on average was Abhor the Witch (12pts), with RND (8pts) and Warp Ritual (8.8pts) also good choices.

On the other side; No Prisoners (3.6pts), Engage on all Fronts (5.1pts), and Behind Enemy Lines (5.4pts) were the lowest scoring Nephilim secondaries

In faction-specific secondaries (that were chosen 3+ times), Necrons' Ancient Machineries (13.1pts), Purge the Vermin (12.5pts) and The Treasure of Aeons (14.6pts) were all really good picks - as well as Astra Militarum's Inflexible Command (12.6pts), Adepta Sororitas' Sacred Grounds (11.7pts) and Imperial Knights' Yield No Ground (10.1pts)

The below-average scorers for faction secondaries (again, chosen 3+ times) were Eradication of Flesh for AdMech (4pts), Renew the Oaths for Imperial Knights (6.7pts) and The Long War (6.3pts)
