  • See here for full Pauper rules:
  • Pauper decks must be a minimum of 60 cards (with no maximum but you must be able to shuffle unaided)
  • Up to 15 cards in your sideboard (if used)
  • No more than four of any individual card in the main deck and sideboard combined (with the exception of basic lands)
  • All cards must have been released at common rarity in a Magic set or product.
  • The following cards are banned in this format:
  • If a game reaches time, then the End-of-Match Procedure begins. The player whose turn it is finishes their turn, then 5 additional turns begin, starting with the opponent. There is an additional house rule that these 5 rounds have a time limit of 5 minutes due to time constraints.
  • Standard rules apply otherwise

  • Decks must be sleeved. If you double-sleeve, ALL cards must be double-sleeved
  • We suggest you bring spare sleeves (the same ones as your deck), as if a sleeve is marked or damaged in any way, it cannot be used.
  • Decks must be cut by your opponent after every shuffle (pre and mid game)
  • You must fill in a deck registration form, which will be checked alongside your deck during registration. Please use to do this ahead of time if possible (we will have printout sheets on the day if you cannot print)
