About the event
- TICKETS:
- Tickets are £15 and can be bought from: https://www.tabletoprepublic.com/tickets
- REFUND POLICY: We cannot process refunds for any ticket cancellations that occur within ONE MONTH prior to the event start date. Please ensure you are able to attend and are committed to the date before booking your ticket, it helps us run a smoother tournament and means we are not losing out having to refund late drop outs.
- TOURNAMENT INFO:
- We will be using Battlefront's Flames of War Version 4 ruleset and all the most recent up-to-date FAQs and Erratas as of the date of the tournament (all are available from flamesofwar.com)
- Missions will be chosen from the Extended Battle Plans in the following document https://www.flamesofwar.com/Portals/0/Documents/FOW-Missions2021.pdf
- Lists should be at maximum 111pts from any of the currently available late war books and relevant command cards
- Painting is not a requirement to enter, but there will be a Best Painted award
- Please submit your tournament lists to contact@tabletoprepublic.com by Thursday 20th July at the latest for checking - you should also have a printed or written version of your lists available on the day to show each opponent
- Proxies are not allowed, and each model should be WYSIWYG where possible (the exception to this is models that are no longer produced or that are older sculpts)
- Please note that the Nazi Swastika is NOT permitted to be displayed on any miniatures and players should find a way to cover them or face ejection from the event. Note: the Finish Reverse is permitted.
- Pairings will be random for R1 (avoiding group/clubs where possible), and will use Swiss Style for rounds 2 and 3.
- Please note that non-thematic matches are likely due to this event not being a narrative event (eg there will likely be allies vs allies events, and terrain may not match where battles actually took place)
- Scoring will be in line with the FOW Victory points table in the rulebook. Rankings will be done as following; Wins, Total Battle Points scored, Strength of Schedule
- For missions with Minefields, a maximum of 4 are permitted
- For missions with reserves, 40% equals 44pts of the 111 maximum
- SCHEDULE:
- Doors Open 10am
- 10:15 - 12:45 Round 1
- 12:45 - 13:15 Lunch Break
- 13:15 - 15:45 Round 2
- 15:50 - 18:20 Round 3
- Awards + Results until 18:30
- Rounds will last 2 and a half hours. We expect the first 30mins to be pre-game activities such as going through lists, picking the scenario, discussing the terrain and deployment.
- We expect players to maintain good sportsmanship in managing their time. We will provide regular time updates and advice on where the game should be approximately in terms of turns. In the event neither player has met winning conditions in this time both players are considered as losing the game as per the Flames of War rulebook.

- The event is run by, and takes place at, Tabletop Republic High Wycombe at 37 High Street, High Wycombe, HP11 2AG
- There is no on-site parking so nearby facilities are suggested, such as Wycombe Swan or Dovecot car parks
